Sand art is live visual storytelling: images are born from sand and transform into one another, projected in real time onto a large screen. There are no words, so it works with any audience and in any language — even in a room with international guests.
For over fifteen years, I have brought my shows to very diverse contexts:
· Corporate conventions, congresses, meetings, and anniversaries — to tell the company's story, values, or a product launch.
· Galas, award ceremonies, and institutional events — as a high-profile feature during a formal evening.
· Theaters and festivals — Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Reggia di Venaria Reale, KKL Luzern, Enzo Ferrari Museum, Monte-Carlo Sporting Club, and the Parma Film Festival.
· Fashion shows, concerts, and public events — where live imagery accompanies the music or the moment.I have worked in Italy, France, Switzerland, and the Principality of Monaco.

Yes, and it is the work I love the most. I listen to your story and craft a narrative structure that speaks about your anniversary, your values, and the message of the evening. It is not just customization; it is creative storytelling.
-
I write them myself: the narrative structure, images, rhythm, and the creation of the soundtrack alongside my collaborator. Coming from a background in illustration and painting, every show is created like composing a work of art, not merely adapting an act.
-
Preparation takes a few weeks and follows four main phases:
Listening — You share the occasion, your core values, and what you want people to take away when they leave the room.
Storytelling & Storyboard — I write the script and create an illustrated storyboard, which I share with you for approval before moving forward.
Sound Design — Research and editing of the audio track, which serves as the musical score guiding every image.
Execution — Rehearsals, technical coordination, and live performance, handled personally at every stage.
-
The duration can be tailored to the flow of your event.
Short Acts — From 8 to 15 minutes, ideal for opening a convention or enhancing a gala dinner. Repertoire includes: Italian Journey, Africa, and a tribute to Ennio Morricone and the cinema of Sergio Leone.
Sand Frames — 28 minutes, seven films, iconic cinema scenes set to original soundtracks and accompanied by a narrator. Available in both Italian and English.
Family Theater — The Little Prince, along with interactive sand art workshops.
Multimedia Projects — Every format can be expanded with multi-screen projections, architectural video mapping, live musicians, voiceovers, or actors on stage.
-
Yes, regularly. I work with event agencies, DMCs, and marketing departments, and I am accustomed to handling complex event schedules. I collaborate directly with your artistic directors, directors, and chosen technical service providers, strictly respecting your timelines and client relationships.
-
To create a truly magical atmosphere, the performance requires a fully darkened venue, a high-quality projection setup (standard screen or LED wall tailored to the space), and a professional sound system. Darkness is key: as the images come to life through light, total blackout ensures maximum visual impact for your guests.
Every event is managed on-site by my technical coordinator, who handles setup, video connections, and coordination with the technical team. The complete technical sheet is available upon request.
-
There is no second chance during a live performance, which is why nothing is left to chance. I arrive with my technician to run on-site rehearsals and test the lighting, sound, and projection before the audience enters. In fifteen years on stage, I have learned that emotion is built on preparation.
-
A custom-made project requires at least a couple of months: writing and preparation take weeks, and quality depends on that time. For repertoire shows, the timeframe is shorter. In any case, the earlier we begin, the better.
-
There is no fixed price list, as every project is unique. The quote is based on measurable factors: the level of customization, the duration, the potential presence of other artists on stage — such as musicians, narrators, or actors — and travel logistics, whether in Italy or abroad. Get in touch with your event details, and I’ll send you a tailored proposal.

Sand is one of the materials I work with. My research explores light, silhouettes, and visual theater, as I build projects that weave together multiple artistic languages. If you are looking for something truly unique, that is the starting point.
-
Yes. I have worked with projection mapping and multi-screen setups, and I have performed live improvisation behind musicians on stage. I am open to new collaborations and ideas.
-
Yes. The Little Prince is designed for young audiences and their families. Several short shows also work perfectly where a short feature is needed.
-
I lead workshops for schools, companies — including team building activities — festivals, and educational settings.
These are hands-on sessions where participants can try drawing with sand and discover how an image comes to life. They can be tailored to any age group and available timeframe.

For over fifteen years. My background is in illustration and painting, and I found my way to sand art through shadow theatre. Over the years, I have performed at iconic venues such as the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, the Donizetti Theatre in Bergamo, the KKL Lucerne, the Reggia di Venaria, the Enzo Ferrari Museum, the Sporting Monte-Carlo, and on the stage of Italia's Got Talent.
